Welcome to the Devaswom Board Pampa College Library!
We are the academic heart of campus, offering a quiet, inspiring environment for study, research, and exploration. Our mission is to support the educational journey by providing access to extensive collections, both in print and digitally, along with the research assistance. Whether you need a quiet corner to focus or help finding specific resources, here you’ll get the help to succeed.
In order to address the information needs of the college’s academic community as well as to gather, organize, and distribute information, the Devaswom Board College Central Library was founded in collaboration with the institution in 1968.
This library’s computerized activities are made possible by its library automation system, which uses Embase library software with the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). For daily operations and library management, the library uses Embase. Users can look up books and review transaction details using the OPAC. For book classification and shelf organization, the library uses the Dewey Decimal Classification System (DDC).
Discover a world of knowledge at the College Library. In an age of infinite data, our library provides access to authoritative and comprehensive resources, journals, research guides, and essential academic tools.
The printed books in the Central Library’s collection include encyclopedias, yearbooks, dictionaries, reference books, and textbooks. To find out about the availability, quantity, and condition of any printed book, one can search the library catalogue. Printed periodicals are accessible through the library. Every shelf in the library has a Shelf List with the main class numbers and subjects of the books that are available.
College students, regular teaching staff, and non-teaching staff are all welcome to join the library. With their own consent, temporary non-teaching employees and guest teachers are permitted to use permanent staff accounts to purchase books.
At the start of each academic year, the library hosts an orientation session for students and others. The goal of this program is to acquaint each new member with the library’s resources, services, and facilities. Users are also made more aware of the library’s policies, rules, and laws through this program.
