The Women Cell of DB Pampa College, Parumala in association with Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation is a dynamic body committed to empowering young women, promoting gender equality, and ensuring a safe and supportive campus environment. The cell works actively to create awareness on women’s rights, health, legal literacy, self-defence, and personality development. Through workshops, seminars, counselling support, skill-development programmes, and celebration of important national and International days, the Women Cell encourages students to grow with confidence and self-reliance.
The cell functions as a platform for students to voice their concerns, seek guidance, and participate in activities that enhance their academic, emotional, and social well-being. The cell intends to host talks and panel discussions with professionals from various fields, raise awareness of issues that are important to women, and hold discussions and debates in groups on a variety of issues and current topics. The Women’s cell seeks to inspire pride in our heritage among the younger generation by giving motivational talks of accomplished women throughout history. The Women’s Cell also aims to instil in the present generation a concern and compassion for the society.
