The Sanskrit Department of Devasvom Bord Pamba College functioned actively and purposefully during the academic year 2025–2026, upholding its long-standing tradition of academic excellence and cultural enrichment. The department aimed at promoting a deep understanding of Sanskrit language, literature, philosophy, and Indian knowledge systems while nurturing critical thinking and ethical values among students.
Throughout the year, the department organized a variety of academic programs . Special emphasis was given to the study of Vedic literature, classical poetry, drama, Indian philosophy, and interdisciplinary approaches connecting Sanskrit with modern knowledge domains. In this academic year we also offering an additional VAC course for 4th sem students.
Faculty member actively guided students in academic pursuits, examinations, encouraging scholarly interest and appreciation of India’s intellectual heritage. The department also encouraged students in Communication skills.
With committed faculty, enthusiastic students, and a supportive academic environment, the Sanskrit Department of Devasvom Bord Pamba College made significant contributions during 2025–2026 towards preserving and propagating Sanskrit as a living and relevant tradition in contemporary education.
