The Department of English at DB Pampa College organized “Fusion Fiesta 2K24” (DBPC Cultural Week) from September 2 to 6, 2024, as part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the English Department. The event was marked by the inauguration of the English Association by renowned author Benyamin and the overall program by Honorable Devaswom Minister Sri V. N. Vasavan. A national workshop on filmmaking was conducted in collaboration with the MG Soman Foundation. Sessions were delivered by esteemed professionals including writer Lajo Jose, actor Sudhin Sasikumar, and writer Akhil P. Dharmajan. The event also showcased captivating performances by Badlaav Band from Kochi and Ithal Folk Band from Alappuzha. With participation from students both within and outside the campus, Fusion Fiesta 2K24 was a grand success, celebrating literature, art, and culture in a vibrant atmosphere.
